
The Maryland State Archives' electronic classroom focuses attention on how to learn and how to teach in small units, employing the seminar methods that are more effective when teaching beyond the level of introductory lectures. The interactive classroom is also designed to help "cyberphobic" people, including teachers and employees in the public and private sectors, overcome their fear of and resistance to working in the electronic environment by giving them individual, hands-on instruction and practice with the tools of the Internet.
