Vosloh Collection, July 26, 1776. MSA SC 1267. Photograph of a four dollar bill Maryland Provincial Currency whose imagery portrays the right of citizens to petition the king. The bill, made by Thomas Sparrow, an Annapolis silversmith, shows "Liberty" handing a petition to "Britannia" who is being hampered by an "evil King George" who is setting fire to a harbor which some scholars think represents Annapolis.
